Medals and BannersGold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the first 3 finishers in each category. A banner will be awarded in the Pre Mosquito and Mosquito categories to the school amassing the greatest number of points. This year again, there is no limit to the number of participants from each school in each category. This rule allows more students to participate and by simply counting the first 5 runners from each school for points towards the banner in the elementary school categories, all participating elementary schools will have an equal opportunity to win one of the four championships. Runners will be awarded points based on their finish position. For example a runner finishing first in a race with 70 runners will be awarded 70 points and the runner finishing tenth in the same race would obtain 61 points for his team, provided he was among the first five finishers from his school. All runners must be currently attending a CQSB school.
See Example below. School B would be the winner of the banner.

Commissioners' Cup/Banner
Commissioner's Cup will be awarded to the school with the greatest participation rate based on school population. The calculation at the Elementary school level will be based on the number of students in grades 3 to 6 and the number of runners from grades 3 to 6 participating. At the Secondary level the calculation will be based on the number of students in secondary one to five enrolled at the school and the number of runners from the school participating in the Administrator's Cup Race.
